IOP(Intensive Outpatient Program)
We are all impacted by life's hardships, let us help you on your journey.
About Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP)
IOP is a primary treatment program recmmended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment. IOP maybe recommended for those who do not need medically-supervised detox or higher level of care for mental health/Eating Disorder. IOP can also enable people in mental health trauma recovery to continue their recovery therapies following successful detox or inpatient discharge, on a part-time yet intensive schedule, designed to accommodate work and family life. We work from the Cognitive Behavioral Model with all of our therapeutic approaches. What makes our program "unique" is that we offer:
-
Case management if needed
-
Transportation (Adults only in rural areas)
-
On site Psychiatrist for Medication Management
-
On site RN for nursing assessments and follow up for Eating Disorders
-
Flex schedules
-
Flex payment plan for un-insured or under-insured
In the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program, you are able to establish a foundation for long term support in your local community right from the start of your treatment, instead of waiting until you return from living away in a rehab center or inpatient psychaitric facility. You receive services primarily through group therapy, but are also assigned an indiviual therapist you will meet with on a weekly basis while in treatment as well as a psychiatrist for the duration of your eight week treatment. Some treatment may last longer, depending on the severity of the patient's symtems. Groups are small and generally do not exceed 10 people, allowing for a safe environment. Each patient is assigned a therapist for continuity of care for the duration of the program and meets with that therapist weekly for the duration of eight weeks.

Your recovery/progress will depend on you willingness to participate, engage, and motivation to "live a productive and meaningful life".
IOP Treatment at Alliant Behavioral Health is offered to Adolescents
Treatment for the adolescent is developed treatment model to help adolescents develop the skill necessary to lead healthy and fulfilling lives free of addictive substances, eating disorders and manage mental illiness. The program is based on the premise that due to deficits in emotion regulation and decision making, youths choose to cope with intense emotional experiences as well as the pressures of life by abusing substances , self harming behaviors, as well as poor impulse control. Our goal is to change the negative behavior to a "Can Do" mindset through Cognitive Therapy approach, utilizing the theory of "wise mind".
The Adolescent IOP Program at Alliant Behavioral Health is open to clients from , with a minimum ages 14 years old to age 18 years old. The IOP is not "one-size-fits-all". We customize the program for each participant. Through a collaborative process involving client ( the adolescent), family, and a clinical team, we determine treatment goals.
